    Details

In this document, a Road Rail Vehicle (RRV) is considered to be a self-propelled vehicle that can run on rails and ground. It is normally a road vehicle adapted for moving on rail also but can be a specially designed rail vehicle for moving on the ground also. It does not imply that the machine is suitable for use on the public road. The RRV can be fitted for inspection, transport of personnel or goods, track construction and/or maintenance.
