Implementing the European Train Control System – ETCS migration strategies on corridors and at national level: COST BENEFIT ANALYSIS. It is a comprehensive cost/benefit analysis, prepared by the "UIC ETCS Migration Strategy Group" during 2004. It explores the business cost/benefits of ETCS migration strategies, from the perspectives of railways organisations within the UIC. The report starts by examining 10 corridors representing a correspondingly high proportion of the TEN network and finishes with a global approach embracing the TEN network in a EU of 27 Member States together with neighbouring countries.
